This year’s season on our island has come to an end.

The Austrian charter programme departed today, Sunday, September 27, completing 18 Vienna–Skyros–Vienna flights and carrying a total of 1,900 passengers, who stayed at 12 partner hotels and apartment accommodations.

In 2027, we will continue with a special recognition and awards celebration to mark 10 consecutive years of successful Austrian tourism presence on the island.

At the same time, this year’s Prague charter programme operated its first flight to Skyros on June 8, with the final departure scheduled for Monday, 5 October, operated by Smart Wings or Czech Airlines. In total, 17 flights were operated, carrying 2,300 passengers – an outstanding achievement for the travel organization Cedok.cz

My sincere thanks to the executives and management of the Czech company for their trust and for entrusting me with their representation on Skyros.

A warm thank you also goes to the teams of skyrostravel.com and skyrosrentacar.gr, “Pegasus – the local specialist”, as well as to our seven partner hotels, the island’s transportation providers, the excursion boats “Apollon” and “Hydrovatis”, and of course, to all the local business owners of Skyros.
Through their hospitality, professionalism, and team spirit, and with a shared commitment to continuously improving the services we provide, we have achieved excellent reviews.

Special thanks to Tony Marek who have been working excellent with me for ten continuously years and adopted his successful slogan “Willkomen auf Skyros” and Tereza Panenkova (first year, outstanding colleague) working with me with patience, enthusiasm and passion.
